DISCOVERY CHANNEL - WILD THING
The brief:
To produce a series of fly-on-the-wall documentaries following the real-life adventures of animal wrangler Trevor Smith.
VSI was the first independent production company to pre-sell a series to Discovery Channel's Animal Planet Europe.
A total of 13 x 30 minute programmes were commissioned by Sonia Flanagan, who declared after the first episodes were broadcast: "The whole look and feel of the series is perfect for our channel. We are delighted with the popularity of the show with our viewers."
